Writing for children is the best kind of writing I like to do. Childhood has been such a memorable time, and I have often wished that I could go back and stay there. So one way I go about this, since they haven’t invented time machines yet, I use writing for children as a way of paying homage to my childhood while also keeping in mind childhood today is different from what childhood was back when I was a child. Regardless, children are the best and the most enthusiastic audience you can write for because they are curious and creative and have excellent imaginations. As a children’s book writer you have a wonderful target audience that should motivate you to keep writing and giving writing your best shot. Writing for Kids Is Challenging Kids these days have a ton of ways that they can choose to spend their time. Picking up a book is just one of many and many kids might choose not to do so. Books for children need to grab the attention of the young readers immediately and keep them...

I have come across many people who lie, cheat and scam people out of their money, time and energy working in digital marketing and social media. This experience has been invaluable to me to help me understand more about how to spot a profile that might belong to a scammer. While on LinkedIn it’s very rare, as the system warns you about accepting connection requests from certain individuals, other platforms don’t do a good job at keeping these devious cybercriminals at bay. They Rarely Show Their Face From their profile picture to the images they upload, it’s mostly not about them and what they do. This is one major giveaway, if they don’t have a profile picture, especially on LinkedIn, they are likely hiding something because LinkedIn is one of the safest platforms online - if I say so myself. Unlike Meta who does a subpar job at keeping unlawful activities at bay, LinkedIn does a much better job. If they don’t even bother to upload a profile picture on a secure platform like Lin...

I f you want to dip your toes or in this case fingers into the field of freelancing, you are not alone. While you might be afraid to leave your comfortable yet inconvenient day job, there might be this nagging voice in your head telling you, “I wish there were better ways to earn money than sacrificing my life to the corporate gods who want me to work, work and work more from nine to five.” This was my situation when I started freelancing. While it was not at all a smooth path paved with marble, I do love the freedom freelancing offers. With freelancing, you are not tied down to a single job or a single boss, which means that you have the freedom to explore and perhaps even earn more. But a word of caution, I believe you need to have a good reserve of finances to start freelancing, because when things go wrong, there won’t be a paycheck waiting for you, no matter the level of toxicity at your workplace and despite you might be having to deal with in your workplace environment, y...
